Questions About Donations

Will I receive a tax receipt for my donation?

Not at this time. We are a non-profit company, but not a registered charity. We are currently in the process of registering with the Canadian Revenue Agency to become a recognized charity, at which time we will be able to provide tax receipts for Canadian citizens.

How will you spend the money?

Most of the money is used to cover the day-to-day operating expenses associated with running Delve Into Jesus. We also use a portion of your donations to fund future projects. For more details on our activities, please see our mission statement

How can I be sure that you're spending the money appropriately?

As a non-profit corporation in the province of Ontario, we are responsible to operate according to the constitution, by-laws and mission statement we've submitted to the province. You can find these documents here. If we are found to be operating in a way which violates our charter, we can be investigated and held liable by the province.

What percentage of my donation will be used directly by Delve Christian Ministries?

If you pay by check or money order, one hundred percent of your donation will be used directly in the work we do. If you pay by credit card, a small percent (about two percent) is taken by PayPal to cover their operating costs.
